Challenges

Private Equity firms have complex back office tasks that can be time-consuming, unorganized, and heavily dependent on manual inputs. The current scope of technology solutions (*Investor Portals) is outdated in look and function and doesn’t seem to assist in streamlining activities. Investor Portals – were designed to assist with the communication between GPs and LPs, but they fell short of expectations. Current products are just Virtual Data rooms that allow LPs to view and access secure documents from the GP sponsor. They don’t really do much more than that.

I was able to build my first MVP with the help of Kinetik's Team as A Service model within a very short period of time. They worked as my tech co-founder and guided me through necessary components which I was unaware of.

Outcome

Version 1.0 – Allow acceson customers (PE Firms) to set up simple exchanges that assist with the reporting processes. Admin users should be able to easily use all features and be able to perform them with ease of use. It should be so simple that they can figure out how to do things without explanation.
